This software was designed as a lightweight product to convert IP addresses to binary. An IP address is broken down in to 4 decimal parts called octets. This software shows you 4 boxes which allow you to put your IP address in to 4 parts. IE you have the address of 192.168.0.1 the first part of the IP address also know as the 1st octet is “192” so that will be placed in the 1st box. The second part of the IP address is “168” this will be placed in the 2nd box The 3rd part of the IP address is “0” this will be placed in the 3rd box The 4th part of the IP address is “1” this will be placed in the 4th box
You then press the button called “Convert” when you press the button the boxes below will populate with the binary address. This software is good for those people who are studying networking. Remember using software which converts these things for you is not a replacement for learning how to work them out on paper.
